“My legacy is probably longevity. I haven't been in the district all that long but I have a very long history in teaching in that I have been teaching 44 years now. My other legacy is I’m one of very few people who teach two foreign languages as I teach German and French. I’ll miss the kindness of the students. They’re just incredibly kind and a caring student body and it has really made an impact on me. I am moving out West to Nevada and make a change into some warm weather,” said Julie Barnes, German and French teacher.
