Many of North’s athletic programs held fundraisers in the past few weeks, some of those being Girls Swim and Dive, Football, and Cross Country.

Football and Cross Country represented Cal’s Angels charity. Cal’s Angels is a pediatric cancer foundation that raises money to help children fighting cancer.

The home football game on Friday, Sept. 9 was gold-out, and everyone, from the fans to the marching band and cheer/dance team, were decked out in gold to support Cal’s Angels.

The Cross Country meet on Saturday, Sept. 10 was the Cal’s Angels event. They had gold sweatbands to show their support for the charity.

Girls Swim and Dive supported the For Scout Foundation at their swim meet against St. Charles East on Thursday, Sept. 8. The For Scout Foundation was created to honor the legacy of D303 student and St. Charles swimmer, Scout Cantrell, and raises money to give back to the community through organizations that represent her legacy.
