Día de Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, is celebrated from Oct. 27 to Nov. 3. During this time people create ofrendas as a way of remembering and honoring loved ones that have passed away. Mi Gente celebrated Día de Muertos by decorating cookies and creating an ofrenda of their own.
