North’s cafeteria has a wide variety of food varying between pizza, burgers, chicken, salads, and other small snacks and desserts. They serve breakfast and lunch foods that switch each day. I have tried most of the food North has to offer, and here are my top five picks.
At number five, we have tacos. They come with many options for toppings such as meat, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sauces. They are not jaw-dropping delicious, but they are pretty simple in taste. The flour tortillas are soft, and the meat is chewy and salty. The tacos could have a little more flavor, but with toppings, they are still satisfying.
At number four, we have burgers. The burgers are big in size and are either a hit or miss to have. Sometimes, they can be a little bland, but usually they are flavorful with the amount of condiments on them and the tasty, chewy meat. These burgers will keep you full through the day, but they can get tiresome quickly if you have them every day. They are still a solid, popular option.
At number three, we have the popcorn chicken and mashed potatoes. The popcorn chicken is crispy, though sometimes too crunchy, but these bite-size pieces are still delicious. The mashed potatoes are even better, especially with the hot, poured gravy on top. With the warmth of the soft mashed potatoes, this food item is a good combination with the popcorn chicken.
At number two, we have the classic pizza. The crust can be a bit hard or burnt at times, but overall, these pizza slices cannot go wrong. They are doughy, warm and cheesy and though basic, they are honestly a really delicious choice. This option is served every day, so it is always a great available dish to fall back on!
Finally, at number one, we have the chicken strips with french fries. The chicken strips are tasty and very crisp; therefore, they are also sometimes hard to chew. The curly french fries are always delicious, especially with ketchup or, my personal favorite, spicy buffalo sauce. This food item comes with three to four chicken strips and a lot of curly fries to keep me full, so getting this option is definitely worth it.
Of course, there are other popular food items I have never tried, like the panini, bosco sticks and salads. Still, there are still a good variety of food options, like these top five, out there to enjoy at lunch.
