This election, all seats in the House of Representatives were up for grabs. St. Charles North is in the sixth Congressional district; it also covers parts of Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane and McHenry counties. The past two years, the area has had Sean Casten (D) as their representative. However, he ran against Jeanne Ives (R). Ultimately, Casten won the election.
